Common questions
What happens if the numbers do not divide evenly?
Everyone is assigned. Group sizes differ by at most one. For example, 10 people in 3 groups produces sizes 4, 3 and 3.
How does maximum group size work?
The tool creates enough groups to stay within your chosen maximum, then balances their sizes. Seven people with a maximum of three per group produces groups of 3, 2 and 2.
Are groups saved to an online account?
No. Grouping runs locally. Your input list stays in this browser; use Copy results or Download text to keep the generated assignments.
